Dionisio Garza is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of ALFA, a leading Mexican company with a solid competitive position in diverse global markets. He joined ALFA over 30 years ago, where he has held key executive positions. He became Chairman and CEO in 1994.
Mr. Garza has been a board member of distinguished Mexican and foreign companies. Currently he sits on the Board of Directors of Cemex.
He is a member of the Mexican Council of Businessmen, Chairman of the Harvard Business School Latin American Advisory Board, and member of the Advisory Committee of the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies at Harvard. He is also member of the Advisory Council of Stanford’s Engineering School and Chairman of the Board of the Universidad de Monterrey.
Mr. Garza holds both Bachelor of Science and Master in Industrial Engineering degrees from Stanford University, where he received the “F. Terman” award. He also has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Armando Garza Sada

Born in 1957, he joined ALFA in 1978. He was President of Versax and of Sigma. Also, he held executive positions at ALFA, Polioles and Selther. Mr. Garza Sada is member of the boards of ALFA, FEMSA, Gigante, Liverpool, Lamosa, CYDSA, Frisa, ITESM, MVS and The Mexican Stock Exchange.
He has been chairman of CAINTRA (Nuevo Leon State Manufacturing Industry Chamber) and the Private Sector Industrial and Economic Council. He studied Industrial Engineering at MIT and earned an MBA from Stanford University.

Born in 1953, he joined ALFA in 1976. Previous to his current position, he was Chief Financial
Officer of ALFA, President of Hylsamex and held various other posts in ALFA’s corporate and
steel divisions throughout his more than 32 years in the company. Currently, he is a board
member of Embotelladoras Arca and Banco Regional de Monterrey.
He studied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Tecnólogico de Monterrey, and earned an
MBA from Harvard Business School.

Manuel Rivera

Born in 1948, he joined ALFA in 1976. He has he held different positions including Vice President of Corporate Planning. He has been President of Nemak since 1993.
He earned a bachelor degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey. Also holds a Master in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.

Alvaro Fernandez Garza President of Sigma Alimentos

Born in 1968, joined ALFA in 1991. Prior to its current position, he held different executive positions in Sigma Alimentos, including Commercial Vice President and Foodservice Vice President. He also was President of Terza and held various executive positions in Alestra.
He earned a degree in economics from Notre Dame University and a MBA from Tecnologico de Monterrey. He holds a second MBA from Georgetown University.

Mario H. Páez

Born in 1950, he joined ALFA in 1974. Among his various positions in ALFA, he was President of Sigma Alimentos, as well as Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Administration of this company, General Director of Total Home and Titán.
He studied Public Accounting at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he also earned an MBA. He holds a second MBA from Tulane University and received a Top Management Diploma from the IPADE. He was President of the Mexican Consumer Industry Council, Vice President of the Mexican Agricultural Council and Vice President of the Mexican Meat Council.

Born in 1955, he joined ALFA in 1978. He held executive management positions at Indelpro, Teijin Akra and Akra Nylon. Former Vice President of the North American Organizational and Management Council / Conference Board and Board member of the American Fiber Manufacturing Association. He was Vice-president of the ANIQ (Mexico’s Association of the Chemical Industry).
Currently, he is Board member of Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (Enterpreuners Coordinator Council), Vice President of the Mexican Manufacturing Industry Chamber, board member of COPARMEX (Mexican Association of Enterpreuners and Vice President of CAINTRA (Nuevo Leon State Manufacturing Industry Chamber). He studied Actuarial Science at Universidad Anáhuac.
